11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Predictive Thinking in Business Travel
Presenter: Katie Raddatz, senior director, Americas, Solutions Group, CWT

In this session, we’ll show you how travel managers can apply predictive analytics to business travel and have more productive negotiations with suppliers, better anticipate peaks in traveler demand, and crucially, help control costs and uncover savings with suppliers, travelers and internal stakeholders. We’ll educate attendees on the different applications of predictive analytics, including: macro trends with yearly forecasting activity, micro-trends predictions, trip-specific predictions, and behavior and trip ROI predictions.

2:45 PM – 3:15 PM
The Future of Payments is Mobile and Virtual
Presenter: Dave Holmes, vice president, payments, Global Supply Chain Partners, CWT

What happens when alternative forms of payment are no longer alternatives? As near field communication (or NFC)-based mobile payments and virtual cards grow at exponential rates and approach mainstream status, what does this mean for the future of corporate travel payments? In this session, we’ll discuss the factors driving this growth, including the latest innovations, regulations and cost pressures, as well demand from travelers and travel managers for mobile-centric solutions. How does an end-to-end mobile integration look like and what does this mean for suppliers and your corporate travel program?

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
In the World of AI, Why Human Intelligence Is the Differentiator
Presenter: Lindsay Bayne, Manager, Open Innovation, CWT

When we think of AI, we might find ourselves thinking of the world overrun by machines and taking over the responsibilities we’ve grown accustomed to. We’ve already started to see robots introduced in some workplaces; companies have begun turning over processes that are routine from human control to machines. As humans, we can never be as fast and efficient as machines. But when it comes to customer service, we argue that even the best machine learning tools require a deft human touch. In this presentation, we’ll show you how human intelligence, intuition and interaction, are the powerful differentiators, and, in combination with AI, can provide the most rewarding customer experience that AI alone cannot offer. Relinquishing control may not be as daunting after-all.
