Best Airports for Business Travellers 2018

For a business traveller who is expecting different things from their airport experience compared to the average holidaymaker, this whitepaper gives a great insight into some of the top considerations to look at when you make travel arrangements locally or internationally.

While the availability and quality of facilities, punctuality of flights and other practical factors go a long way in determining how good your travel experience will be; more importantly, they may also define how successful your trip could be.

The 15 airports analysed in the report have been identified using CWT’s data on the most frequently visited airports by Australian business travellers, across both domestic and international categories. They have then been ranked basis the following categories

  • Number of airport lounges
  • Wi-Fi availability
  • Self-service check-in availability
  • Time to the CBD by taxi
  • Time to the CBD by train
  • The number of airlines flying to the airport

While London’s Heathrow Airport scored top marks for comfort with 40+ lounges and other facilities, Changi Airport led the technology enabled travel experience with a host of features including a fully automated check-in system, 3D CT scanner and automated baggage drops. Canberra, Perth and Brisbane airports topped the list for on-time flight efficiency.
