USA: Travelers have to allow 72 hours for ESTA

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have announced that real-time approvals will no longer be available for the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) and therefore citizens of participating Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries traveling to the United States have to apply for an ESTA no later than 72 hours prior to departure.

Travelers arriving at the airport without a previously approved ESTA will likely result in being denied boarding.
