The GBTA APAC Conference 2023 – Singapore will bring together the business travel community to network, learn from industry experts and benefit from peer-to-peer education. Tapping into the global insights of GBTA and curated by regional thought leaders this event will focus on the key issues and opportunities facing the business travel industry today.
When the world went into lockdown, many organizations switched their in-person meetings and events into virtual versions. Event organizers and attendees were both learning and adjusting on the go. Events and meetings are now back in full-force in Asia Pacific.
Meeting venues are reporting continued growth in volume levels; which points to the recovery of travel & meetings. With the pent-up demand for business events/meetings there is much reason for optimism.
Meetings and events had gone through many changes and transformations. In 2021, virtual formats prevailed but with more planning and preparation time. By 2022, hybrid events were delivered in-person and digitally. From 2023 onwards, in-person events are returning in full force.
