Michael Ryan
Managing Director, CWT Australia & New Zealand

Michael is responsible for leading and empowering a team of nearly 280 people across six locations in Australia and New Zealand, developing and executing business strategies that deliver transformational change to our clients and organization. He is passionate about building high-performing teams that support customer success. Prior to joining CWT, Mike held leadership roles in the financial services, information and communication technology, and telecoms sectors.

Samantha Wagland
Director, Sales, Australia & New Zealand

Since joining CWT in 2015, Samantha has defined the sales strategy for Australia and New Zealand. She has over 20 years’ experience in various leadership roles, with strengths in business development and account management. Her breadth of knowledge and deep understanding of what clients need has helped to drive business efficiencies and operational improvements.

Suzanne Quinn
Director, Program Management, Australia & New Zealand

Suzanne fell in love with the travel industry when she first joined CWT as a program manager. Now with nearly 20 years of international commercial experience, she leads a team of program managers across Australia and New Zealand to provide best-in-class program services, while her in-depth understanding of operational management and travel program development allows her to provide thought leadership, business planning, and relationship management to our key clients.

Michelle Sargent
Director, CWT Meetings & Events, Australia & New Zealand

As the lead for CWT’s Meetings and Events division, Michelle engages key stakeholders from client organisations to deliver exceptional customer experiences and build the M&E brand in the market. She has a proven track record in the tourism and events industry, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. She is a driven leader, trusted client advisor, and actively participates in industry advisory councils and panels.

Michael Gunn
Director, Supplier Management, Australia & New Zealand

Based in Sydney, Michael leads Global Supplier Management for Australia and New Zealand, and is responsible for delivering strategic airline and car rental partnerships for our clients. He has diverse experience within the travel management industry, having held roles in sales, account management and marketing. Michael has over 20 years of experience in the corporate travel industry.

Stefan Sorge
Senior Market Manager, APAC, Supplier Direct Team, Hotels RoomIt by CWT

Based in Sydney, Stefan leads the Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (APMEA) Hotel direct team for RoomIt. His priority is to drive unique hotel offerings and competitive pricing for RoomIt in the region for our clients. Stefan has over 20 years of experience in industry, and a deep understanding of the region, having been based in Asia for four years prior to his current role.

Mariam Alkhal
Director Traveller Experience, Australia and New Zealand

Based in Australia, Mariam leads the Traveler Experience teams across Australia, New Zealand and Manila, ensuring that the highest service standards are delivered to our clients. Mariam has been with CWT for over 10 years and has extensive experience in operations, having served various roles in the company, including project management, business analysis and travel consultancy.
